aloe vera wholesale

How it all started for us ...

Aloe vera, the world’s most amazing natural healer. The idea of using Aloe first came about by using it myself, recommended to me by my mother who is a great advocate of the product. After a few weeks, I really started to feel my health was improving, my hair was shiny, my nails became stronger and I had a lot more energy.

My husband noticed a difference too and suggested the product might help the cows if we could find an animal equivalent. We have been farming in Northland NZ for 17 years now and are always looking for ways to improve the health of our animals and increase production.

After searching the net I was amazed at the information available and how successful the product was. We made the decision to trial the product for six months, so we contacted a quality Aloe Supplier and obtained a 99% Inner leaf Aloe Juice in 25 litre containers with a dose rate of 10 ml per cow per day. (normally its recommended 5ml but we doubled the dose to help speed up the benefits)

At this point of the season we were into our second week of A1 with a fairly low submission rate. The cows were lethargic and the weather wasn’t helping.

Once the Aloe was given via the water dispenser, we noticed the cows started cycling a lot more and with additional energy. After a couple of months, the cows looked healthier with shiny coats and better condition. We are well into the milking season and have seen very few cows bulling (i.e. empty) since the bull was removed from the herd at the beginning of January.

It is now the end of January and with a drought on our hands, the cows are faced with dry herbage, which generally changes the dung consistency due to poor digestive ability. This year; the dung has changed very little which is indicative of better digestion and better nutrient uptake.

During the season we also had a cow with a spilt teat, as another cow had stepped on her. The teat was torn open almost to the teat canal. We started treating her with the 99% Aloe vera Juice (bathed the area) and finished with an application of Aloe Gel and applied it night and morning after cup removal.

The constant milking disturbed the healing every time but after treating her continually with the Aloe Juice (plus some aloe gel) she now has a healed teat, with only a small indentation on the outside of the teat as the result of the injury . Since using Aloe Vera the changes we have noticed are:

Better cycling rates,

Lower somatic cell count,

Evidence of better digestion

Healing of teat (Aloe Vera Juice and Aloe Gel)

Healthier Cows

With the ease of application, at a rate of 5 to 10ml per cow per day, this is one of the most inexpensive treatments giving a broad range of benefits. In our opinion it is therefore economic for our business to continue to use it all year round.

Area of Concern (including treatments already tried):

Veterinary consultation and veterinary treatments for thoroughbred horses.

We breed thoroughbred horses on our farm and to date we have had two exceptional results through using 99% Aloe Vera Juice Extract.

The first experience was with a yearling filly with a massive internal infection. She was in pain and could only ‘hobble’ around the paddock and was being treated by the Vet with a course of very strong Antibiotics. We were very concerned that if and when she pulled through what her future would be due to possible residual side effects, as there is always a concern for a horse’s gut and the possibility of stomach ulcers particularly in light of the strong course of drugs she was on.

We decided to treat her at the same time by administering the Aloe Vera Juicde directly down her throat using a syringe. We kept this up while she was on the veterinary treatment and continued for another couple of weeks. The filly made a good recovery and has had no other side effects or problems. Veterinary assistance and antibiotics were essential; however we believe that the Aloe made a big difference to her recovery & healing. This horse has now won her first race and looks to be a very promising filly for the future.

Yearling colt:

The results we had with the above thoroughbred convinced us to try the Aloe Vera again when a young weanling colt we were planning to prepare for the sales suffered from a bad bout of colic. The vet said that the horse had an intussusception of the bowel – which is when part of the bowel telescopes and causes a blockage. The only way to fix this is through drugs and when all else fails the horse must have surgery.

We went through the normal veterinary steps and as there was no improvement, the vet said an operation was necessary at a cost of around $5,000. We were reluctant to proceed with this option for financial reasons and also we did feel concerned (rightly or wrongly) what the future would be for the horse on the racetrack after the operation, so we decided against it.

The Vet said that although the colic was intermittent it was unlikely to go away and that the normal prognosis is that the horse would become listless and unwell and progressively get worse and potentially would have to be put down.

Products Used: From that point forward we decided we had nothing to lose by administering the Aloe Vera Juice. We were intrigued to notice that the first dose had an immediate calming effect on the horse and so we continued a regime of 120mls three times a day, syringed down the colt’s throat. Over a period of 3 weeks the horse had approximately 9 litres of Aloe juice.

Results Achieved: We believe that that administering the quality Aloe Juice was the reason for the cure of his colic. He responded so well from the first dose and made continual daily progress. Six months later the colt is now being prepared for the yearling sales and has had no sign of colic at all. He is thriving. We are absolutely amazed at the healing power of this wonderful plant and will definitely be using it regularly for our horses.

Farming is a challenging occupation. We trial many different remedies and theories in our time, some more successful than others. There is so much more to be learnt about Aloe Vera and we cannot be too dogmatic about our discoveries.

In my experience in farming, I’ve not before experienced such a positive response in my herd as far as overall health.

The animal health costs have been cut as much as 70% along with other benefits.

Such as:

Has helped reduce Mastitis

Has reduced Somatic Cell Counts

Has reduced nasal problems

Healthier Calves

Helps control calf scours

Helps relieve Ryegrass staggers

Better conception rates

I have found overall, herd condition better and less problems at calving. Any cows with a problem are drenched with good dosages of 99% Aloe Juice with some good responses.

By helping digestion and stress levels, I believe there is a definite future for Aloe in farming. The 99% inner Leaf Aloe Vera Juice is also very cost effective / affordable.

I was introduced to the Aloe Vera in July 2009 and later purchased the 99% Aloe Vera Juice Extract as I was familiar with the benefits of aloe.

It has proven to be a superior treatment to what is offered by our veterinarian as an immunity was built up to their products. Aloe being a natural healer has not caused this to happen.

Three weeks ago we had a new born calf go down with scours and I think even a touch of pneumonia. After one week of trying conventional treatments such as “borgal” and electrolytes the calf improved some. One week later, though, the problem returned, only worse. I did not think the calf would live (it was almost dead!!). I really did not think even the Aloe would save this calf, but I began administering it orally anyway. The first night I poured about a cup of Aloe juice down in the calf ’s mouth still thinking that it would probably be dead in the morning as it could not even lift his head. By the next feeding it was greatly improved.

I continued to administer the Aloe Vera Juice with 50% clean water orally for several days and the calf had a full recovery.

The Value of the heifer calf is approximately $450.00 .

The cost of the Aloe Vera Juice was approximately $40 for 4 Litres

I discovered Aloe Vera as beneficial for animals after reading about its success being experienced in other countries around the world. In particular, the dairy industry where the Aloe Vera Juice has evidently experienced huge results in addressing concerns like mastitis as well as scouring and pneumonia in newborn calves. We have always experienced mastitis with the milking cows and previously addressed the problem with antibiotics.

This means withholding milk for 5 and a half days as well as “Cefalac” costs and vet bills. We milk 65 cows. The past five incidences of mastitis have been treated the following way using 99% Aloe Vera juice extract . I would strip out all the milk before treating. I then infused through the the teat into the infected quarter, morning and night with 30 cc's of Aloe Extract.

I continued to milk the good quarter as usual and stripping the infected quarter often during the day, for 2 days. I continued treating mastitis for a further two days. This method has proven to be 100% successful and has not required antibiotics, vet fees and I have not had to withhold the milk, all of which means dollar saving for me....I am extremely pleased with these results!!

“I’m going to shoot the cow”

While enjoying a cup of coffee with my farmer friend Jack from Manitoba, I soon learned that Jack had a sick cow down refusing all food and water.

“I’m going to shoot the cow, it’s just suffering” said Jack. I then said to try some Aloe Vera Juice as its worked for others. “That won’t work” Jack said rather quickly”.

I offered to obtain Jack two bottles of Aloe Juice to try. “What’s the price he said”? “Never mind the price, just give us the cow”. (Good as dead was the overall opinion anyway)

I then observed the cow, with cold nose, cold all over and shaking. We started with about 300ml of 99% Aloe juice and drenched the cow by putting the juice in a long neck bottle, tilting the cows head up and putting the bottle the side of the animal’s mouth. We left the cow with a pail of water, covered it with a blanket and pushed hay around her. One hour later the water was gone.

Thinking another animal could have drank it, we gave up. Jack could not believe that the cow was now drinking on it’s own. Before leaving we gave the cow another three doses of Aloe Vera juice. Within 24 hours, that cow was eating hay, chewing its cud and back on the road to recovery. Jack could not believe it was the same cow. He didn’t want to give up the cow. He Now is a firm believer in the power of Aloe Vera as well.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to learn about Aloe For Animals from a friend who suggested that I buy a copy of Adrian Baker’s book, “Me, My Best friends and Aloe Vera” and read about some amazing results. I subsequently started giving my Tibetan Spaniel’s Adrian’s recommended daily dose of Aloe for Animals.

In August of that year one of my “Best Friends” had surgery for the removal of a slipped disc, after which the prognosis was very poor. My dog was paralyzed in both hind legs and at this stage it was impossible to know if there was any bladder and/or bowel damage. He was quite helpless. I was devastated that at only four years old we may have to part with him and so I decided to obtain some quality Aloe Juice for treatment.

For the first three weeks my dog Ming drank Aloe Vera Juice in place of water and then began his course of treatment together with Aqua Therapy and exercises. After only two months he stood unaided and then gradually began to walk, much to our delight and amazement. Two of the vets at the University Hospital described this as incredible. It is now almost six months since Ming’s surgery and apart from the usual precautions of not allowing him to jump or climb steps, his life has returned to normal. He enjoys his daily walks with the other dogs and is happy and pain free.

He now waits for his three capfuls of Aloe Juice each morning after breakfast. Ming’s recovery has been nothing short of miraculous for which I shall always be grateful. Words cannot convey the joy of seeing a paralyzed “Best Friend” walk again.

My father, brother and I run a family dairy, milking about 100 cows. We were introduced to the Aloe Vera as a beneficial treatment for dairy around 2 years ago.

The results have been nothing short of astounding. The following are documented results: Aloe Vera Juice and Aloe Gel - We have used these on bruised teats and they have repaired between milking. At times a type of crusty layer on the teat was improved in just one day.

Aloe Vera Juice - We mix 10mL per cow per day in 20 litres of water, mixed it in the T.M.R. and feed it to the whole herd. We use the 99% Aloe Vera Juice . So for 100 Cows we add 1Lt of 99% Aloe Juice to the 20L water.

Results show that the general condition has improved and appetite has increased slowly. For special conditions, like mastitis, we drench with approx 300mL per day and in a few cases have 40cc’s syringed into the teat. Mastitis has sometimes cleared up in 1 to 3 days with no milk retention - a big saving!! Any ailing calves with scours, pneumonia or general weak condition after birth are drenched with 60 cc’s and mostly recover within 1 to 2 days.

With all of the above great results, needless to say we are extremely happy with the Aloe products. They have become part of our day to day dairy operation. We would recommend any dairy, beef, pig or goat operators to look seriously at these products.

This trial with lambs was unscientific as no lambs were weighed but this is what happened.....

A total of 1079 long tailed lambs for the live sheep shipment to the Middle East were run through the draughting gate 6 weeks prior to their departure.

One hundred and thirty eight small lambs were separated out. I considered that these lambs would not improve enough to meet criteria set, regards size and condition.

These 138 lambs were placed in a separate paddock of similar grass and were drenched with 2mL of 99% Aloe Vera Juice every two to three days (time permitting) with nine drenches in total.

Of the 1079 lambs draughted for export, 72 were rejected. Of the 72 rejected lambs, only eight were from the 138 lambs that were given the concentrated Aloe Vera so the results are excellent.

"I am extremely pleased with the results"

In July 1999 I was introduced to the Aloe Vera from a good friend. He showed me many positive reports from other dairy farmers already using this product in their herds. My father said to me that we need to take a serious look at this. I read over many of the uses for this Aloe Vera, some of which were mastitis control, (drenching orally and infusing into the infected quarter), drenching into the cow’s uterus for treatment of retained placentas, and prevention and treatment of calf scours. I also learned about the Aloe Vera Gel for reducing swelled udders, fungal infections, and for healing of abrasion on udders etc.

We decided to purchase the 99% Aloe Vera Juice and I am excited to tell you the fantastic results we experienced. While milking the morning after purchasing the Aloe Vera I noticed a very hard quarter on one of my cows. (I think it was acute mastitis). I stripped out as usual, but instead of treating as I would have before, I infused 40mL of Aloe Vera into the hard quarter. That night when that cow came through again the infected quarter was totally soft!! I stripped her out again with another 40 mL of juice and she is doing awesome! I did not have to withhold milk as the Aloe is not a chemical antibiotic.

I also started mixing 10mL 99% Aloe Vera Juice per cow per day into my T.M.R. (food mixer) as I read reports of what other operators are doing. I am excited to tell you that my cows are milking out faster and are more at ease than before putting the Aloe in their feed. I know my own cows and I am extremely pleased with the results I have seen in the little time that I have been using the Aloe.

I have also purchased some of the Aloe Gel to apply to hard udders of first calf heifers as it takes the swelling down in a very short time.

Hi Saul,

It's time to reorder the Aloe Vera Powder again as the Cows are responding very well to the aloe juice made from the concentrated powder as the cell count is now currently 115. The cows cell count was about 160 before the aloe, so its a very nice improvement.

Thank You

There is no doubt the dairy farmers today have greater opportunity to increase production and profits than any other industry. As a dairy farmer, you are aware that the dairy industry’s two major problems are poor absorption of nutrients and incredible wastage. These problems tear the very heart out of rural communities.

Dairy scientists tell us that 10% of cows are empty. Cows are up to 50kg underweight at first calving are under-performing. There is horrible wastage where 20 - 35% drop out before third lactating. While great improvements in nutrition have been made in the last 45 years, there is still an appalling situation brought about by poor absorption of nutrients. Cows are capable of much better. We know because there are hundreds of dairy farmers who have experienced much better results.

Like any dairy farmers, you are interested in how you can have up to:

18% - 30% MORE MILK

We know of one farmer with cows which hold production records in 4 age groups increasing milk production by more than one extra litre of milk per day. Some people claim that most farmers are apparently not very interested in getting the best out of their cows or they would have solved their wastage problems years ago. Perhaps, in the past, this had some basis in fact. But in today’s economy we know that farmers are concerned with welfare and production of their herd, because it has such a dramatic effect on personal welfare. Unfortunately, wanting to solve a problem does not mean you know how to, and consequently many dairy farmers have yet to reap the rewards that can be gained from reducing cow wastage problems.

Like people, cows need balanced nutrition. The single element system does not supply complete nutrition. The imbalance of most cows absorption of nutrient (which results in poor nutrition) is the leading cause of late conception, lost milk, cidrs, low protein and fat, mastitis and foetal abortion. Put simply, poor nutrition costs money.

Balanced nutrition is achieved and it isn’t expensive. In fact, balanced nutrition will save you money by reducing vet bills, as well as increase your production and put more dollars in your pocket. The answer is the effective use of Aloe For Animals to maximize your effects in providing good nutrition for your cost. If you use meal for a month you will get more benefits all year through by using Aloe For Animals, and the cost is about the same.

Late cycling cows most likely cost you more in lost milk and cidrs than a year’s supply of Aloe Vera Juice.

Reliable cycling lets you achieve your desired calving spread. Cows produce more milk all season because the essential amino acids increase the nutrition that they get from their feed, and foetal abortion is less likely. Cycling is no longer a problem. Farmers have reported conception rates as high as 99.5% and 100% Magnesium, zinc and manganese benefits lactation and fertility.

Better cow condition can extend the season. It also allows you to have about 11% more cows in your herd because fewer replacements are needed.

Aloe Vera is a biogenic and metabolic stimulant that boosts Systemic health so animals perform better at all functions. In fact, Aloe Vera has been shown to increase most farmers milk volume by about 18 - 30 % by solving most of the wastage associated with poor nutrition. Many farmers have successfully used Aloe Vera to save a cow’s life when necessary, and you can use Aloe Vera to give your cows a more rapid recovery from sickness.

Wounds are often healed in half the normal time. Aloe Vera, that is organically grown, properly harvested and processed, provides complete balanced nutrition and the best way to increase your income by solving the nutritional problems of your animals.
